The Highlands County Boys And Girls Club Turn Around Program was implemented to award kids who turned their school grades and attitude around to the good. Kids with attitude and school grade problems are worked with over a period of time. When they show a great improvement they are awarded the Turn Around Program Award.
Below are some of the turn around award recipients!!!!!
Ladarreon was given this award for helping at the club and raising his grades in school.
11 year old, Jose Isabel was the recipient of the Turn Around Award for April. His willing attitude shows as he volunteers to help others with soccer and in their classes.
Ms. Ada introduced Keanna Moore as our student of the month for February. Keanna loved helping the younger kids but was making D’s and F’s herself. She was told she could no longer help others until she helped herself. That encouragement and determination has inspired Keanna to bring up all her grades. We would like to thank her for helping others and herself. Keanna also presented the board members with a plate of homemade cookies that she had helped bake at the site.
You've shown that you can make the right choices at school and at the Boys and Girls Club. There is no limit to your potential with your positive attitude and willingness to work and play with others.
